Things to do

We want to ensure you an unforgettable stay on the island and
have therefore tested and selected some of the best activities in collaboration with our enthusiastic and dedicated partners.

Scuba diving

Diving gives beginners and professionals the amazing opportunity to explore the large, rocky underwater mountains, the colourful corals and the vibrant reefs. Depending on the season you can observe whale sharks, rays and sea turtles.

After a speedboat ride to Sail Rock or Koh Tao, you can enjoy dives accompanied by our PADI Certified Elite Instructor. In case of further interest, a training course can be joined to obtain the PADI (Open water & Advanced Open Water).

Quad or buggy rides

The best way to discover the island off the beaten tracks is a quad or buggy ride provided by our passionate guides. This original jungle and mountain experience lets you explore the natural beauty of the interior of Koh Samui, its waterfalls, viewpoints and temples. You will learn about the culture, customs, flora and fauna from our experienced guides, who are very attentive and will always prioritize your safety and enjoyment.

    Sailing cruises

The range of types of boats you can lend is as great as the variety of places to visit and activities to do. A personal cruise is an unforgettable opportunity to spend the day away from the crowded island and to enjoy the quiet in Thailand’s crystal clear water between the rich vegetation. Our captains will reveal some of the secret places of the archipelago, as well as take you sailing, swimming, snorkelling or paddling in authentic places hidden in the outskirts.

    Jet ski

If you are looking for more adrenaline rushes and thrills, a jet ski tour might be a fantastic opportunity to explore the islands around Koh Samui. When being aware of the risks and following the instructions and provided precautions, this can be a great activity also for families.

We would like to advise though to choose the service provider with care, as jet skies are a flourishing business and a scam can spoil the good time easily.

    Culinary experience

The Thaï cuisine is known to be one of the tastiest on the planet. Famous for the perfect mixture of fresh and healthy ingredients with sour, sweet, salty and bitter flavours, the local dishes are a not-to-be-missed experience. Visitors need to keep in mind though that Thaï cuisine is traditionally characterized as numbingly spicy.

Also worth mentioning are the exotic fruits that should be tasted, for example, on the market.

A unique experience is a round of golf on one of Thailand’s top golf courses which can be found in the northern hills of Samui. Santiburi Samui Country Club reveals a spectacular sea and beach view and challenges passionate golfers uphill and downhill with holes on different levels. Another opportunity to improve your swing while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Lamai, Chaweng and the surrounding islands is the Royal Samui Golf & Country Club, close to the villas.

The numerous authentic markets are the ideal place to experience the local cuisine and to taste some traditional dishes such as Pad thaï, krao pad, spring rolls, roti and more. The brave gourmets might even give the variety of insects a try!

Apart from dining opportunities these weekly Walking Streets also offer a huge selection of souvenirs, traditional crafts, essential oils, jade jewels, bags and clothes. Despite their popularity prices are quite low in general.

    Fisherman’s village

The Fisherman’s village at Bophut Beach is the oldest and definitely an exception on the whole island. Despite the growing scene of charming restaurants and lounge bars, the old wooden houses still dominate the picture. The famous bar The Coco Tam’s is a great place to enjoy a cocktail or to attend the impressive fire show on the beach.

Once a week, on Fridays, the main street transforms into a Walking Street with live music, entertainment, street food and market stalls.

    Muay Thai

The art of the 8 limbs is one not to miss when in Thailand. Koh Samui has several stadium which organise fights every week. This is a sure night of entertainment when watching fighters of all ages and horizon practice this ancient martial art. If you wish to try yourself and try yourself at some training, you may also join the Superpro club in Chaweng during one of their daily practice session where everyone is welcome. Besides some techniques you will learn, this is also amazing and exhausting exercise.

    Samui Elephant Sanctuary

Samui Elephant Sanctuary is the first ethical elephant sanctuary in Koh Samui, Southern Thailand.  Set on 10 acres of forest land, they offer a retirement home for elephants who have worked exhausting hours in the logging and tourism industries. Feed, walk with, and observe the gentle giants as they roam, socialise, bathe and enjoy a peaceful life that they so deserve. Join the morning or afternoon program knowing you are supporting ethical elephant tourism and helping to make a difference.

    Seafaring adventures

Embark on a seafaring adventure aboard a local long tail, a Burmese junk, a motor catamaran or a speedboat around the rugged costal beauty of Koh Samui and its surrounding islands. Take in the stunning scenery of limestone cliffs, white sandy beaches and snorkel in clear azure waters for a memorable tropical escape. Day trip include transfer and lunch either on land or on the boat.  Trip options are: Burmese Junk Day Trip Tour, Koh Taen Day Trip Tour, Boat Day Trip to Angthong Marine Park

    Yoga at Vikasa

Treat yourself to a Vikasa’s Healthy Day – where yoga on the beach and a wonderful buffet make your Koh Samui experience even more relaxing. The healthy, local ingredient buffet is the perfect compliment to your daily yoga class. It’s a great way to socialize with your peers, meet new people from all over the world. You can choose from one of our many drop-in classes with varying styles & speeds with schedule which varies to suit your holiday schedule, while the Buffets are everyday at 10:30 am and 7:30 pm.

    Chaweng night life

Koh Samui has become one of the best places for nightlife. Especially Chaweng is the favourite place due to its nightclubs, bars, cabarets, and even a Thai boxing stadium. You can dine in a relaxed atmosphere with ambient music, fire dancers and dancing on the beach in Ark Bar or dive into the nightlife with loud music and drinks on the most famous street, Soi Green Mango. Another inevitable party hub is Soi Reggae, named after its popular Pub at the end.
